Short version
- No accounts and no cookies.
- We don't save the store addresses you check or your results.
- We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies.
The store address you type
Our server uses it to fetch that store's public pages during the check. (Browsers won't let one site read another directly, so the pages pass through our server.) The address and the pages aren't saved. Your results are put together in your browser and are gone when you close the page.
If you copy a report link, the store address is in the link, so anyone you send it to can run the same check.
What we count
- Checks: how many run each day. Just the number.
- Visits: Cloudflare Web Analytics tells us which pages were viewed, which site sent you, your country, and your browser and device type. Cloudflare says it uses no cookies and doesn't fingerprint visitors.
- Feedback buttons: how many times each button was pressed, for example how many people marked the refund check as wrong. No text and no store address.
Rate limits
To stop one person running thousands of checks, the server keeps your IP address in memory and drops it about ten minutes after your last check. It isn't written to storage.
Other companies involved
- Cloudflare hosts the site and keeps standard server logs under its own privacy policy.
- Google: the speed test sends the store's address to Google PageSpeed Insights. The font loads from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address, as with any site that uses them.
